About Me Born in Düsseldorf, Germany September 14th, 1959 The story is that the summer was unbearable hot and my mother suffered a great lot, the guilt came with birth. School: 1965 to 1978 Abitur Albert Einstein Gymnasium Yeah a whole lot of school, can't remember what I learned there, but I was happy to leave. Chile: 1978 to 1979 Did an internship in a copper mine over there, it was interesting but I was too young and shy to really take advantage of the country and the freedom. Turned out to be an ok time in my memory Civildienst 1980 to 1982 Yes, I had the privilege of getting in writing from the German Government that I'm unfit to kill and that I'm much better use to society by delivering food to the elderly. And they wanted me for 18 month! I actually had the best time doing that, made a great friend and have some fun stories. FH Detmold 1983 to 1987 Here I studied Interior architecture, made good friends and got a sense of myself, learned a lot about design, furniture, architecture and art. USA 1988 to.... Moved to California's Bay Area January 1988, the best and most important change in my life. Found a job, friends and a life away from the restrictions I believed Germany stood for.
